Spring and fall trips to early and pre-20th century historic sites in Indiana and/or adjoining states are arranged for members and their friends. Past pilgrimages have included visits to Lincoln’s boyhood home, Indiana’s first state capital in Corydon, and Vincennes which served as capital of the Indiana Territory from 1800 until 1813.
Our Annual Meetings are held on the first Saturday in November each year. It is a time for members to join in on our luncheon and enjoy good conversation, witness the actual meeting for our society and hear from wonderful speakers.
Indiana Statehood Day. Midwestern Roots Conference. ISL Conference & Genealogy Fair. SIP Press Releases.
Sharing highlights of members’ activities outside of SIP.
Our members are always very generous with their time and gifting, which is how we have been able to take on some worthy projects over the years and keep our annual dues at a fair level.
When we send out our mailings, you are always able to make a special donation if you would like to. The Society of Indiana Pioneers is a non-profit 501c3 organization.
